This is how I start a new drawing in color pencil. After transferring my sketch to my paper, I lightly block in basic colors. Paper is Mi-Teintes by Canson. Pencils are Derwent Studio. I like Derwent color pencils the best as they seem a little less waxy than Prismacolor.
